Adventure Along the Trail in Mercer County, West Virginia

July 28, 2018 / Comments Off on Adventure Along the Trail in Mercer County, West Virginia

Discover a Place with Unique Heritage and Natural Beauty West Virginia Tourism  I think my favorite part of my trip to Mercer County, in Southern West Virginia, was the people. Retreating To Downtown Alpine

July 26, 2018 / Comments Off on Retreating To Downtown Alpine

My husband earned his master’s degree at Sul Ross State University and so I’d join him on weekends in Alpine and explored the town while he was in class. It’s an easy place to fall for. Great art, walkable downtown, live music, and delicious food. All surrounded by the tranquil Texas Mountains. This was the first in a series of articles I wrote for Texas Monthly. >>Read the article here<<
