Find Heritage and Culinary Delights in The Hatfield-McCoy Region West Virginia Tourism I had the pleasure of spending a few days on assignment in Logan County, West Virginia, where I traded my heels for dusty jeans and a helmet to ride one of the largest ATV trails in the country—the Hatfield-McCoy Trails. Our Move Across The Country Up until last November I have lived in West Texas my entire life. I’ve been proud to say I come from God’s country—the wide-open spaces, the mesquites, the real cowboys (shout out, Dad), the rolling plains, the larger-than-life cotton farms, rusty pickups, backyard barbecues, lake days, Friday Night Lights, chips and salsa, margaritas and Chiltons, bourbon and Topo Chico.
